Based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia dated October 13, 2023 No. 106 "On approval of the procedure for registering foreign citizens and stateless persons at places of temporary stay in the Republic of Abkhazia," which entered into force on January 1, 2024, foreign citizens are subject to registration at places of temporary stay. When staying at properties with a valid certificate of compliance with the standards, registration is carried out from the date of arrival. When staying at other properties, registration must be carried out after 14 days from the date of entry into the Republic of Abkhazia. For registration at check-in, a one-time registration fee may be charged of ₽200.00 per person, regardless of age. Payment is made by guests on site in cash. Front desk is open 24/7. In case of no-show, a penalty equal to the cost of the first night's stay is charged. In case of early departure or shortening of the stay, the entire cost of the stay is withheld. The exception is emergency situations (death, illness), in which case it is necessary to provide the appropriate certificate. Breakfast is from 08:00 AM to 09:30 AM, lunch — from 02:00 PM to 03:30 PM, dinner — from 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM.
