The breakfasts were good

We booked a room with two single twin beds, however when we arrived, after 10pm, there was a double bed. After some difficultly we separated the mattresses but we only had a double duvet and one bottom sheet. We went to reception to address this issue, when we got back to our room we had two single duvets on top of the beds (not made up) and only the one double bottom sheet. The double duvet was on the floor. Very disappointing that we did not receive what we booked and then even upon addressing this issue with staff there was a very half-hearted solution and my friend had to sleep with no bottom sheet on the bed. Also the bed sheets, particularly the pillows, were visibly unclean.

Good location, 10 min walk away from bus stops that take you into the city centre, and some shops. theres a park, playground, outdoor gym & swimmingpool on campus that you can pay to use. Breakfast is a fair walk away from the rooms, but a good range of hot foods, and great bakery

Rooms are nothing like pictures. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. you are provided with a bar of soap, one small sache of shower gel for the whole stay, and towels. The rooms need a new coat of paint, the walls are stained and peeling, which scratches on them. There are stains on the towels and bedding. The double bed i booked turned out to be two single beds pushed together with a hard gap in between, so it was very uncomfortable. No tv, hairdryer, kettle. Insect repellent device on the floor. Overall, i am very disappointed in the quality of the rooms. It cost a fortune, and was absolutely nothing like what it was advertised as.

Hotel lejísimo del centro. Ir al centro en bus toma 31 minutos. Muy difícil de encontrar la Recepción del hotel. Imagina que esto es una Universidad, la cantidad de edificios que te encuentras en el area es enorme. La mejor manera, más cómoda y menos cansadora de llegar desde el centro es tomar el bus 44 y te bajas en el stop terminal. Lo tomas en O'Connell St Upper, stop 281 y llega hasta la entrada al campus. Para ir a recepción camina derecho, a tu derecha tendrás el centro de eventos The Helix, sigue caminando derecho, pasarás por un arcoiris (rainbow) pintado en el suelo, llegarás a una esquina, a tu izquierda tendrás un bar, dobla hacia la izquierda a 50 metros está el edificio de la Recepción, ingresas a él y ya estás. Si por la hora no hay gente allí, empuja una de las puertas de madera y a 20 metros está la gente de administración. Parecía una celda de una prisión. Dos camas pequeñas, de campaña, un mesón largo adherido a la muralla, una pequeña lámpara que no funcionaba, el baño con un ambiente mortecino, sin televisor, en su lugar una pizarra negra. PESIMO. Contratamos la habitación con desayuno incluído. Al día siguiente, fuimos al restaurant para tomar desayuno, éste se ve muy bien, hay muchas cosas para comer y beber, muy bueno. Mi error fue que tomé todo lo que creí necesario para mi desayuno, al llegar a la mesa, constato que no saqué agua mineral. Volví a buscarla y ahí comenzó una pesadilla. Apareció una señora mayor, quien comienza a gritarme y a humillarme, diciendo que yo no puedo volver a sacar más cosas, que el costo del desayuno está calculado en 10 libras, que es para estudiantes, etc. Le intento explicar que fue involuntario mi error de no tomar el agua mineral en la primera vez, siguió gritándome, luego accedió a que la retirara, en ese momento aparecieron otros 2 pasajeros a buscar algo y los echó a los gritos. El nombre de esta inolvidable señora es Mandy Claine, su cargo es Catering Manager. Ella no puede seguir allí

Die Unterkunft ist direkt auf dem Campus und hat dadurch einen tollen Flair. Die Fahrt in die Innenstadt dauert gut 30 Minuten, aber das war für mich kein Problem.

Typisch britisches/irisches Frühstück in einer Mensa/Cafeteria; man wird satt und für den Preis ist das in Ordnung, aber es ist sicherlich kein „Feinschmeckerfrühstück“ mit viel Auswahl.
