The owner is absolutely lovely....the breakfast lady is also very sweet.....the hotel is very clean. The view is absolutely gorgeous from your private little courtyard.

Nothing other than a small soap & a tiny bottle of shampoo were provided. Not even toothpaste/toothbrush, shower cap, ear buds or even conditioner are provided. Which are any hotel basics. So make sure you have those things. Towels are changed every second day instead of daily. You are 8km away from the centre of Positano. So you need to get a bus which arrives once every hour at all times. So many times because of the crowds the bus driver wouldn’t either stop or allow you on because the bus was already too crowded when leaving Positano town centre. So you would have to wait another hour. Even when you do get back to the hotel location you still have many stairs to the hotel & vice versa. I would honestly say that if you are not fit & reasonably youngish then it’s not for you. So if you do stay there obviously depending on how many days you stay. Get all your groceries, wines, conditioner, fruits etc all on the first day because it’s exhausting to head to the town every time you needed something. Also I would honestly say that it’s a nice place to stay if you are after doing absolutely nothing & wanting just a romantic, secluded get away & all you want to do is have the most gorgeous views all day & night while drinking wine. Then definitely go for it. Sorry for my bluntness, but I’m just being honest so that future bookings have an idea of what to expect. Cheers
